Instructions for using chlorine detection equipment
The test water must be distilled water or deionized water
All glassware should be cleaned with acid wash solution,tap water and distilled water in the chemical laboratory befor the first use
After each measurement, the solution in the colorimetric bottle should be poured out in time,and then cleaned with acid washing solution,tap water,and distilled water to prevent contamination and corrosion of the colorimetric bottle
Before inserting the colorimetric bottle into the colorimetric tank,the surface of the colorimetric tank,the surface of the colorimetric bottle must be wiped with soft paper or soft cloth,and the transparent surface of the colorimetric bottle must not be taken directly by hand to avoid affecting the measurement results
After the colorimetric tank,it needs to be placed for 10 to 30 seconds before measurement
when using devices such as pipettes,filters,digital titrators,etc.to absorb different solutions,the pipette suction head must be replaced, and the filter and digital titrator must be cleaned before absorbing another solution
If the reading value is unstable, the possible reasons are: (1) there is water on the outside wall of the colorimeter bottle, wipe the outside wall of the colorimeter bottle with filter paper, (2) the solution in the bottle is not stationary after the colorimeter bottle is placed in the colorimeter tank, (3) the battery voltage is insufficient (display L), the battery should be replaced
Chlorine detection instrument can detect the concentration of hypochlorous acid produced by the equipment,which is accurate and has small error
